1. Information We Collect

Vendor account information: email, password (stored securely), business name, owner name, phone number, business address, neighborhood, product category, description, and social media links.

Vendor listings: product names, descriptions, prices, and photos.

Visitor information: no account is required to browse Solstand; we may collect basic usage data to understand how the site is used.

Location data (optional). If you tap "Use my location" while browsing, your browser will ask permission to share your location. This is used only within your own browser to calculate distance to nearby makers and sort results by proximity. It is never sent to or stored on our servers, and we do not have access to it. You can deny or revoke this permission anytime in your browser or device settings; the rest of the app works normally either way.

We do not collect payment information. Solstand does not process payments or transactions between buyers and vendors.

2. How We Use Information

To display vendor profiles and listings publicly, to review and approve vendor applications, to communicate with vendors about their account, to maintain and improve the platform, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Reviews and Questions

Review verification. If you submit a review or question, we ask for your email address to send a one-time confirmation link, verifying you're a real person before your review is published. This helps prevent fake or duplicate reviews. Your email is never displayed publicly, never used for marketing without your separate consent, and never shared with the maker you reviewed.

4. What's Public vs. Private

Public: business name, description, neighborhood/general area, category, open days, social media, listings and photos.

Private (visible only to you and Solstand administrators): your exact street address, phone number, and email. We collect these because Florida cottage food law requires a specific premises for your operation, and so we can contact you. They are never displayed publicly.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, and Resend to deliver transactional emails (review verification links, account-related emails). Resend processes the email address and message content necessary to send these on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at pinchobrosllc@gmail.com.

8. Cookies

Solstand uses only basic cookies necessary for the site to function, such as keeping you signed in. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

9. Children's Privacy

Solstand is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the updated version here.
